Continuous Website Evolution: Three High-Impact Deliveries

From 2022 to 2025, I worked as a web developer within the Marketing team at Quorum, being responsible for the company’s website.

Besides technical maintenaince, team support, custom ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) content modules and plugin development, I’ve led visual improvements and built new pages and features. This case study highlights three key deliveries I made during this time: a redesigned homepage, a pricing page, and a template to show content resources.

Continuous Website Evolution: Three High-Impact Deliveries

Homepage

For the homepage, instead of using the ACF content modules presented on the website, it was developed a page template mostly for technical reasons.

The goal was to make the editing experience easier, since the previous page was bloated with modules and confusing options, and to simplify performance adjustments, as these changes would not affect the rest of the website due to its isolated structure.

With this opportunity we did work on the design as well, creating new sections (like the interactive one right after the logos or the case study carousel) and improving the overall user experience.

Note: Some photos and logos were changed to preserve client relationship with the company.

Pricing Page

The Pricing page, in other hand, was built using ACF content modules with some CSS and JS customization. It quickly became one of the highest-converting pages of the website.

Resources Index Template

The Resources Index template was built based on user behavior that we detected after heatmap analysis.

Based on that, we decided to make the titles basically breadcrumbs so the actual content could be highlighted, splitting the page in two sections: Spotlight, where we can show selected content and Latest, with the remaining content.

This template can be used to show all the content resources available on the site or focus in one or more specific types. These options can be adjusted inside WordPress, using ACF fields

In the Latest there are ways to filter the content: When the page is showing all resources, they can filter by type and/or product. When it is adjusted to one or more specific types, only the product filter is available.

Besides the main resources page, the same template is being used on specific pages for each type, like blog, webinar and reports to help with SEO and make it easier for the user to check it out the content they want.
